Developed over several years, this body of work reflects on time as a living force — shaping, eroding, and renewing life. Through flowers that bloom, wither, resist, and return, Yunier Gómez Torres explores the cycle of existence: birth and decay, strength and fragility, memory and transformation.

Created from the experience of displacement and migration, these paintings speak of what endures and what is left behind. Each canvas becomes a moment within a larger continuum, where color carries emotional weight and form becomes a metaphor for survival. The flowers are not symbols of beauty, but witnesses to time — marking the passage of life itself.
